Frequently asked questions
What age are they for?
Our squishies are recommended from age 6, and from age 3 for the models whose size allows it. Below that, the small formats are a choking risk, so they are best kept out of reach.
What are they made of?
TPR, a soft elastomer, sensory gel, or slow-rise polyurethane foam, all BPA free. They are not edible, however convincing the dessert looks.
Why does a new squishy sometimes smell?
That is the leftover smell from moulding. It fades within a few days if you leave the squishy out in the open, away from direct sunlight.
How do I clean it?
A damp cloth with a little mild soap, then let it dry completely in the open air. Avoid the dishwasher, the washing machine and very hot water, which damage the material.
How long does one last?
From several months to several years depending on use. If the surface turns tacky over time, dabbing a little cornflour on it brings back the original feel.
